01/05/08: 2008 Good or Bad ?

aloha to all surfers,
this year was a pretty bad surfing year, no as many good swells and when the waves were up the conditions for shooting was bad.
so don't know what we will be doing in the future with Gallery808.com...... for now we have moved on to other things until the waves get better or something new comes up.
if any one wants to put in there 2 cents and give us some ideas, feel free to contact us anytime.

Guy Hagi - ghagi@kgmb9.com
Hurricane Flossie continues to pose a threat to the Hawaiian Islands although it is showing signs of weakening.
Current Location:
At last observation Flossie was a Category 3 major hurricane with maximum sustained winds at 115 mph with gusts to 150 mph. It's now about 265 miles SE of the Big Island moving northwest at 13 mph.
Pray for surf. waves expected to be 20ft on the big island, but Oahu will get a little wrap, maybe in the 3-4ft size.
06/28/07: Still Waiting......

Aloha to you all,
looks like the waves came up a bump, but not big enough for any good photos and high performance surfing. check back later tomorrow and pray for surf.

06/27/07: First "New" Blog

Aloha to all you hardcore surfers,
we started a new blog, since there hasn't been waves for a while, we will start from stratch and post the first entry by starting off by saying that the waves are flat. this has been the story for the last month or two. there is an anticipated south swell on the way on friday, but don't get too excited, the south shore is famous for not showing up for the party. anyway, check back for more info.
just for the record we will be updating the blog at least once a week or whenever for get real waves, so it has to be the waves have to be overhead and good conditions. if not, we will be doing something else or shooting a wedding anything but surfing crappy waves.
ps. iphone is launching on friday, so if you want to buy one, get ready to camp out and wait in line.
see you in the water.
